Volunteering at Events
The help of our volunteers is crucial to fundraising for all of our residents and patients
Fundraising events are incredibly important and fund a range of therapies and services which make a tremendous difference to our patients and residents’ quality of life. However, we’re unable to host these events without the support of our volunteers.
These one-off volunteering opportunities are a great way to help the hospital without committing too much time!
These roles do not require training or induction. If you’re interested in hearing about our event volunteering opportunities, please let us know by contacting [email protected] and we’ll keep you up to date on what’s coming up for the RHN events.
What do these volunteer activities look like?
Here are a few examples:
- Join our cheer squad
- Summer Fete
- Christmas Carol Concert
Throughout the year, the Community and Events Team cheer on our amazing supporters who join a challenging event to improve the lives of adults living with severe brain injuries. We are looking for volunteers to be a part of our RHN cheer squad to encourage our runners, walkers, and cyclists to get across that finish line!
This volunteering activity is a fun day out for just a few hours, cheering along with our team.
The RHN summer fete is a family fun day out, where we will have stalls, food, games and more. We are looking for volunteers to help manage the games, take payments, and support us throughout the day.
Enjoy the fair atmosphere while supporting the RHN.
Get into the Christmas spirit with the RHN Christmas Carol Concert. You take part in numerous roles, such as ushering, check-in, and serving mulled wine.
Support the RHN for the holidays through this festive volunteering activity.
And many other events
