Wellesley ward appeal
After he was hit by a car, no-one believed Philip would ever return to a normal life.
Thankfully with the help of a team of staff and therapists at the RHN, Philip is now back in his community and living independently.
Philip stayed on Wellesley ward, our ward for patients who’ve developed challenging behaviours as a result of their brain injury. The work of our staff and therapists on Wellesley ward is amazing.
However the ward itself has not been refurbished for a number of years.
We’re launching a £1.5million appeal
Our aim is to modernise the ward; improving access, patient dignity and privacy, and creating extra space for a range of physical and occupational therapies.
