RHN Celebrates International Nurses Day

Friday 12 May was International Nurses Day and the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability (RHN) threw a small party to celebrate all of the amazing work its nurses do to care for its patients and residents.

Staff from all departments and disciplines were invited to the De Lancey Lowe Room for some music, fun photos and snacks, including doughnuts and chocolate fountains (with plenty of fruit and marshmallows to go around!).

Following some sweet treats, RHN staff struck a pose with colleagues, with their photos being pinned to a board for all to enjoy. A few patients and residents also paid a visit to the celebration, joining staff in enjoying some music and snacks.

Nurses at the RHN play a vital role in enabling us to provide the highest quality care for patients and residents living with brain injury and neuro-disability. It was an absolute pleasure to bring everyone together to remind our nurses how appreciated they are for the essential work they do.
