International Nurses Day

International Nurses Day
We celebrated International Nurses Day today at the RHN with an international afternoon tea for nursing staff and other colleagues. International Nurses Day is the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth.
Matron, Ian Hendren, said
“It’s wonderful that nurses are being recognised for the work they do. There’s a closeness and rapport between all nurses, and there’s something very special about the camaraderie that we have between us at the RHN.”
We also celebrated our nursing staff on social media – take a look at our Twitter page to see what nursing means to the dedicated people who do it at the RHN every day.
