Tracheostomy intervention in complex neurodisability
Tuesday 21 January
This free 90 minute webinar is presented by the RHN Speech and Language Therapy and Physiotherapy teams. This webinar is designed as an introduction for SLT’s, PT’s and nursing staff who would like to learn more about tracheostomy management for patients with complex long term neurodisability.
The first section of the webinar will focus on rehabilitation / weaning and the second part on management for those with long term tracheostomies within this population. We will discuss some of the core principles of tracheostomy management, considerations within this population, ways to troubleshoot and there will be time for questions at the end.
Please do send us your clinical questions ahead of the webinar in preparation for a panel discussion at the end of the session.
